three day weekend...

i can not begin to describe how bad i needed this three day weekend. all day yesterday i kept thinking i need to get everything done and kept reminding myself that nope i still have another day. so i started today at 5:30 with john for the 5th day in a row. ug these early mornings are killers. so off i was to walmart at 5:45 am. got the shopping done. came back and unpacked the goodies. well not really goodies. just food, diapers, wipes, diapers, tp, paper towels, etc. then cleaned the living room and now i'm on the kitchen. what a morning. the plan today is to get my pots planted. hopefully that will go well. john is sleeping again with dad in our bed. i need to learn how to go back to bed when john does!! ug!!

yesterday was spend with family. everyone came to our house after church for breakfast! it was great!! great to have family here. oh did i mention mike and i got the basement organized on saturday!! i've been saying that forever. anyways matt helped mike move some furniture that we are storing for mom and dad. we get to also use it which is nice!! we have so much furniture in the basment and its great to have so many beds when mike's family come but it does take up a lot of room. in the evening the boys went golfing. amber and i decided to also joing up a little bit later on their last few holes. we brought the strollers and had a great time. john loved the wide open spaces and of course both boys just love being outside with mom and dad!! it was good family fun!! so thankful for those wonderful moments we are together enjoying the company with us. a few more years its going to be dad golfing with john and leaving mom behind!! guess i better improve my golfing game!!
