this week has been a long but short week. on wednesday night we got pictures taken of john. a good friend does a great job with photography and we asked her to help us with john for some one year old pics. we spent some time down by smith lake beach. i'm sure we are going to have some great pics. friday could not get here soon enough. so glad it did. it was a rough week at work so i was glad to be done. mike's parents are here for the weekend spending some time with their grandson. the boys went fishing last night and caught some pan fish. in the mean time charlene and i took john to the park. john loves ducks. well of course the park had a few geese and as soon as john's feet hit the grass he was running for geese. i was quick on his heels catching him and putting him on the swing to distract him. he had a great time. we then headed home and baby was quick to sleep. this morning we all headed to famous dave's for breakfast. it was so good. we haven't been out there for awhile and mmmm those waffles with their praline sauce yum. now we are back at home and wondering when john will be up from his nap to play!! well hope all is well and everyone has a safe 4th of July!!
