parents...

i don't think you really understand who your parents are until you yourself are a parent. i still have more to learn but i also understand more of their lives and how they lived. i am blessed to have the best mom and dad in the world. seriously i do have the best. wanna know why...

they love me through all my mistakes. they fought and loved in front of me. taught me about jesus. pray for me. always a call away for great advice. taught me right from wrong. lived life as an example of jesus. made me play outside and didn't let me watch alot of tv. got down on the ground and played with us. wiped our tears. spanked me when i needed it. helped us build forts. took time out of a busy day to take us to the pool. took us camping. spent time with us. let us talk into the late hours of night in their bedroom. loved me.

behind my parents are even more amazing parents. these people shaped them and are still shaping the future. thankful for parents!
