how time flies...

Well it’s been awhile… things are good here! We’ve stayed semi busy and have gotten into somewhat of a routine. I sometimes feel like my life is busier now that I’m a stay at home mom. I’m not sure how that’s possible! This stay at home mom thing has probably been the biggest adjustment. I love it but it’s different. I’ve always worked and sometime I feel just useless or bored more so because this isn’t my home. With daycare John always stayed busy and so did I and with just the two of us I think we both get bored with each other. I’ve tried to always have something fun for us to do each day! I’m excited for the time to come and have our own house. Hopefully that is soon!! Trying to be patient is hard but I’m surviving and it’s good to be all together as a family.

K so what’s been going on…  This past week Mike and I took off for Rapid City, SD to spend some much needed family time. We stayed at a hotel which had a waterpark and we actually got a room with a separate sleeping space which was great to have with John. Nap time was a breeze!!! The main reason for this trip was just to spend time together. Mike has had a total of two days off since he started! It’s been rough adjusting to his busy schedule and also sometimes realizing that I have no break for about three days!! Things will get better and his boss said they have never been this busy so it will slow down which I am so thankful for. In fact this whole week Mike is home around 5 or 6 which is aaaaaaahhhhhhh so nice and my little guy gets some daddy time.

This week I was able to find a better grocery store which has made me incredibly happy!  Fresh vegetables and fruit is rare around here and if I want them I have to travel and hour or more but I’m learning the tricks! I have my days of yeah I’m glad we are doing this but other days of I can’t believe we are doing this!! The little things make me sad and miss home more than anything! It’s the leaves I find in the hood of my car or just missing a friend to sit and talk with! I know it will get better but still it’s tough! Every day I have to choose to not see the bad but the good in it all! I’m so thankful for this opportunity and blessed in how God has opened doors! Please pray for us as we continue this journey. It’s not always easy but it does become easier when we see God’s hand at work!

We recently checked out an Assembly of God church in a town nearby. Both of us liked it but still want to check out a couple of others! I think this is what I miss the most! The fellowship and a feeling of a home church.  Mike wants to check out a Baptist church but from what I’ve seen it doesn’t look to promising but who knows we might love it!
On another note our little guy is doing good and getting very big in mommy's tummy! Constantly kicking and letting his mom know he is there for which I'm thankful!! He is scheduled to arrive on the 27th of December. Surgery is to be at 7:30 AM. I'm kinda bummed I can't do this natural but its ok. (No hospital will do a v-back around here and the closest is 3 hrs away which is just not possible when you have another little one at home) Its kinda crazy to think we will have another little boy with us soon but also so excited to hold this little one in my arms!!

K this is getting long so here are a few pictures and hopefully I’ll do this more often! Love you all and miss you a ton!!
