monday

its Monday! usually I find Mondays to be chaotic and the kids grouchy but today is mellow and relaxed! kids r sleeping at the moment and john is finely feeling better!! its been awhile so quick update on that!! bad cold turns into ear infection and then on top of that "hand, foot, and mouth". So needless to say its been crazy as usual i'm finding it to be here in North Dakota. kids seem to be growing like weeds. happy to announce that ryan is now in 3 month clothing which i'm pretty sure john at this point was in 6 month old clothing! (can't wait to dig out john's baby book and compare)

I think Ry has got a lot of "Yoder" in him. always wound up and doesn't stop moving. mike says oh great this could be interesting! :O) I agree it will be interesting! Ryan is so different than John but in a good way!! he's loves to smile (like anytime he gets you in focus) he seems always ready to play or be noticed but when he is done he is done! he's seems to get fussy at night but even in his fusses he still will smile. he loves to be able to sit up and look around at everything. I will put him in his swing and you can watch him lift his head to be able to see john play! he loves to watch john and I've noticed at times when john leaves to room he starts to get fussy as if he wants to go with him! I can't wait to see them playing together! i'm sure i'll have those moments of oh my goodness what did you just do or say to your brother but I know at the end of the day i'll love every moment of it! I can't imagine our lives without Ry. he already has become such a fixture in our hearts.

i'm so looking forward to this summer and getting out of the house with the boys! the other day we went to the park in Scranton and oh my john had a riot and so did i! felt so good just to be outside but it was fun to see john explore and navigate more things on the playground by himself. he's more daring when daddy is around which i'm thankful for! with me he's pretty content to stay close and not do anything to daring! made me miss Hayward and our days of going to the park with our buddies. I know I will have that here too but still hard some days! john is getting so big also! no longer my baby boy! he's this little man that is most of the time dirty, bruised, and smelly! I love and treasure the now rarer moments when john will randomly give me a hug or sit by me. he's his daddy is so many ways and I love that! he's sensitive, caring, and longs to please anyone he is around! he is strong minded and stubborn at times but all these things make him who he is and i'm so very very proud to call him my son!

so our house is almost almost done!! we just need a meter! Really just a meter! i'm so excited! I can't wait to make this our home and make memories! i get overwhelmed at times at how much stuff we have and how we will fit it but mike is my calming presence saying it will all be fine. now more than ever i realize how big our old house was and how much storage we had there! (miss my lovely trees also and well groomed grass my husband worked on forever each year) its fun to create another nursery! much the same but still fun!

well i gotta get going ry is stirring which means he's either hungry or wants to some attention!! love and miss you all! oh mike got a new truck to beat on!! i kinda like it! those old bench seats to sit close and the roar as you take off!! won't tell mike this but kinda think its a romantic redneck thing! also feel like i fit in around here!! :o) k enough about a truck i don't even know how to drive!!
