flowers

well i didn't go with what i thought earlier cause that meant spending $250 on plants that die in the winter. so i ended up with a new color combo. purple, yellow, and white. my wonderful sister was a great help. she has a beautiful color combo also!! we had great fun navigating with our wagons around tiny isles and tight corners! our common comment to each other while turning the corner was "can you lift my back end?" ohh and the best thing was the very first greenhouse we walked into had a sign posted saying "your husband called and said to get whatever you want" oh we had the best chuckle about that knowing our husbands are both sitting at home wondering what the heck we are going to bring home, how are we going to rope them into helping getting them planted, and how much did we spend!

my yard. the bare spots in my yard have yet to fill with grass. really how long does this take? (i think mike is beginning to wonder also). today was cold but the sun did come out with a artic breeze. cutter and i went for a walk while mike was out turkey hunting (no gobbler just a hen is all he saw). i ordered some new books from the library to read and watched maid of honor. i'm really excited to get my flowers in the ground. a long a wonderfully productive day!!
