i have never truly understood how much my parents love me til now. i love john so much!! he is my world! yes i'm like every new mom and i worry about everything from diaper rash to his breathing. my days go from being exhaused but utterly amazed at a face he makes. they say his smiles are gas at this age but i have to tell you some days they are just for me. for my own benefit!! breastfeeding has become my praying time!! last nights feeding i prayed him through 12th grade. yikes to think he will be that big some day!! i feel so blessed!!
today i gave him a sponge bath all by myself. mike helped with the first and we learned some new things you could say. (this time i had the bathroom around 100 degrees) he didn't even cry but he didn't smile either. after our bath was a trip to work to show him off and then a doctor appointment. the doctor said he is doing good and everything looks great. (what a relief to hear!!) now he is napping and i think i'm going to be joining him soon!! i'll try to get some more pics up later this weekend!!
