our day began with nursing and me telling john he should be really nice to me cause its mothers day well i thought i heard him say ok mom but later i'll explain what he really said. church was good. i received the youngest baby flowers. that was kinda special!! he did good in church. a little restless but overall really good!! afterwards we headed home where dad and john had a gift waiting. (i got a digital photo frame from them... i get to show off john even more now) at noon we headed to amber and matt's to grill out. mostly i think we were invited cause they all wanted to hold john!! they all need to learn to share. thank goodness amber is having one in oct!! after wards we headed home and went over our first walk in the stroller. it was a beautiful day and it was great just to be with mike. mike then went golfing and i then nursed john. well this is what john really said this morning "mom i love you but today is going to be a day of firsts" well nursing went really good but put it this way john now knows how to cover mom in spit up! i was covered!! :o) after nursing john fell to sleep and i'm now thinking what i can make for dinner. mike should be home around 7 and then we are going to watch leap year. i'm hoping its good!!

a first of many...
mothers day. my first. ahhhh.... i told mike yesterday that its just another day cause john can't really say or do much right now but the day has come and i feel so special to be a mom. what a privledge we mom's have. my dream for him is that he would love the Lord with all his heart and seek Him above all else!! what a huge role i play in that. my own mother has been such a great example of this. i look at us three kids and wonder how she did it all. what i love the most is that all three of us love the Lord with all our hearts because of the huge role she played in our lives. my desire and prayer is to have this also. john is the most precious blessing. i can't imagine life without him. yes i have my days of not wanting to nurse and wanting a whole night of sleep but i wouldn't change it! he is the love of my life!! thank you Jesus for this wonderful boy!!
