life around here is good. time change this morning has me up to early with john. john's routine in the morning is now asking for "meme" which is actually tv. this is the one time of day i do let him watch tv. so in he goes to his chair, sippy cup of milk in hand, and a bowl of cereal on his lap. curious george or calliou go on and life is good in his world for 45 minutes while mom gets ready for her day. calliou is by far his favorite and could probably watch that all day!! mike made fun in the beginning but has come to the conclusion that its ok cause he then can snuggle mister baby while he watches. aaahhhh the things you do to get him to snuggle even if its for just little while.
work. going good. kinda a God thing happened last week. i've really been struggling with needing more kids and i hadn't at that point got any referrals in awhile and i was a bit discouraged. so on monday i was praying that God would send two more kids my way that would be full time. on tuesday i get this call for two children full time. how cool is that. not only does this fill some spots and add extra income it also was a desperate prayer of wondering did i do the right thing? should i have quit my job? can i do this? i was questioning everything. i still don't know if they are going with me but i'm praying they do but more than anything i felt God's presence of walking along side me. it was confirmation that it will be ok and things will work out for His glory!!
well i better get going. little boy needs to be fed and clothed. thank you Lord for answered prayers!
