in home child care

i have to tell you little bit about my day and how it goes once i have 5 kids running around. the morning starts with snacks. which has become a favorite cause they can't go anywhere and they are mostly quiet. the mess they provide after is not fun at all but i'm grateful for the peace none the less. after that it is back to playing and crying. john is the big bully and i'm often trailing him telling him no you need to share. around 11 my kids are so so so tired. each of then are following me around the house and most of the time sitting at my feet while i make lunch. they eat lunch and they are all off to bed. now the thing about bed is they all sleep together. babies in one room and toddlers in another. that leaves 2 in one room and three in another. they amazing thing is when they all are sleep. sometimes it takes 15 minutes to wind down but eventually all are sleeping and i'm in heaven. if i get 30 minutes of peace i'm so so thankful cause as soon as one is up i'm grabbing them and bringing them to the living room to play. during my 30 minutes i get to use the bathroom and maybe eat and clean! i change diapers like a mad woman and know how to expertly put up a baby gate. i love watching them all play together nicely. my favorite sight is to see three little ones sitting by the book shelf, all the books on the floor, but each child has a book they are looking at! i love their smiles and innocence abt the world around them. i love how when the music goes on they all dance. when "do everything" by steven curtis chapman goes on they all go nuts!! around 4 i'm counting the minutes down to the last kid leaving! after all is said and done. i'm am so very thankful to be at home with my little guy!! my days are filled with "really you just did that!!" to "thankyou, please, and I love you" this by far is the hardest but most rewarding job!!

please continue to pray. i still stress and worry but i'm reminded each day when this song goes on!!
