christmas gifts..

just a few things we got for christmas. all mike and i had on our lists this year were big ticket items. both sides of our family pitched in and helped us out!! we got a wonderful camcorder that will record lots of precious moments with john. we got a great best buy giftcard in which mike said i could spend and get a "pandigital ereader"!! i know i said i wouldn't get one of these but i did. it goes on the internet and allows me to read!! oh i love that man!! we also got a wonderful blanket from the moenkedicks. its so cute. i put john on it this morning and he just crawled around looking at all the different things!! we also got a wonderful amish made high chair which will i'm sure will get some good abuse through the years!!

both mike and i are so blessed this year!! although these are great gifts are biggest gift is God's son Jesus!! thank you heavenly Father for sending your son!! this year took on a new meaning for me. every year we always read the christmas story of jesus's birth before we open gifts and often share what we are so thankful for that year. this year was no different but different. we told the story in a child's eye perspective with a book and i think all of us looked around feeling very thankful for each other and our two new additions! Christ has blessed us so much this year and we know that no matter what He will continue to do so this next. whatever may come!!
