Thank you Father for this day

the tree is up and decorations out!! snow is falling. inches on the ground with more to come! laundry is going. bread in the oven. john asleep. fire going. warm and snug. missing my man and john keeps looking around the corner for dad. thank you Lord for this day!!
this nativity set reminds me always what the real reason is for christmas!! our Lord and Savior!! between getting all the gifts and decorating i sometimes don't take the time to be thankful! thank you Christ for sending your son down to this earth!!
