joyful

every morning around 7:30 little toddlers enter my home. the last two mornings its been so fun to see them say hi and play. play has consisted of giggles and running feet. running from one end of the house to the other. i love it. oh there are times during the day that i'm exhausted and can't wait until they nap but i love hearing their enthusiasm for life. this morning as i type four little boys are running around squealing with laughter. i have to say i love this age and hate this age. they don't understand everything yet such as sharing, no pushing, no hitting, and did i mention sharing but they love to smile, discover new things, learn new things, dance, sing, and hugs.

this morning john had on his dinosaur pj's i didn't even know that he knew what they were and i as i laid him on the changing table he points to one and say "osaur" and then proceeds to rrroooaarrr after it. i can't believe how much is talking and how much he picks up. he is learning so much lately.

ok on another note... valentine's. mike sent me flowers, chocolate, teddy bear, bath bubbles. that man melts my heart. some days not but mostly most of the time. what did i get from john... a good morning hug and an "i love you". i couldn't believe he has said it before with prompting but not on his own. i grinned ear the ear and hugged him even tighter. he then proceeded to follow it with saying "tight hug.. rrrrhhh" love my little man. literally he is no longer my baby. he is this little man walking around. makes me kinda sad but also so joyful!!





my little man lines up all is toys all the time... more his mother than his father in this area :O)
